Job Description

**Job Title:** Operations Manager Renewable Programs Hybrid **Date:** 04/24/2024 **Location:** East Berlin, Connecticut

This position will manage the operational components of the company's LREC, ZREC, NRES, and SCEF Programs, as well as other commercial Renewable Programs. Responsibilities include vendor oversight, customer installer application for and payment of incentives, monitoring the meter installation, meter data collection and delivery, and billing processes as they pertain to program participants. The Operations Manager will manage staff responsible for addressing customer inquiries and complaints via multiple channels to ensure an accurate, timely, and comprehensive response.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Manage day-to-day operational and financial tasks performed by third-party vendors
• Oversee successful implementation of process improvements related to customer experience, incentive program process streamlining, installer interactions, and consumer education
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and applicable financial regulations

This is a hybrid role, with the first three months full-time in the office.

**Essential Functions:**

• Document detailed processes and procedures associated with the programs
• Develop and provide status reports to meet the needs of regulators and Eversource Management
• Manage vendors and budget associated with the Renewable Programs
• Serve as operations subject matter expert on distributed generation portal projects
• Supervise Solar Specialists and/or other solar-related staff
• Implement criteria for quality control measures for all program activities

**Qualifications:**

• Technical Knowledge Skill
• Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Operations Research, or related discipline
• 10+ years experience in utility renewable or solar industries
• Knowledge of utility billing systems, operational principles, process improvement, and SMART program implementation
• Experience managing projects involving technology implementation and process changes
• MBA preferred, but will consider candidates with 8 years of directly related experience

**Compensation and Benefits:**

• Competitive total rewards program
• Annual salary range $137,000 - $153,000 plus incentive
• Salary commensurate with experience
