Summary
The Colorado Program Associate will work closely with the Colorado Program Director and the regional support team to carry out SUN's goals in the state of Colorado. This position reports to the Colorado Program Director.

Responsibilities
- Plan and implement solar co-ops across the Western Slope
- Support Solar Switch Colorado program
- Provide administrative support to Denver low to moderate income LMI solar rebate projects
- Coordinate grassroots community engagement and volunteer development
- Represent the Colorado Program in coalitions and events
- Conduct policy, regulatory, and market research
- Provide technical assistance to individuals interested in going solar
- Lead in-state digital organizing efforts
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Resident of Colorado
- Minimum 2 years of community organizing and project management experience
- Ability to work remotely with frequent in-state travel
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Spanish fluency
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented and proactive
- Knowledge of social energy and environmental factors in Colorado
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Resident of or willing to relocate to Colorado
- Minimum 2 years of community organizing and project management experience
- Computer skills
