Position Scope

As a Production Engineer Operations, you are a key link between the Ops Process Engineering and Production Teams. You collaborate with Production Process Engineers to drive improvements to process units and execute test campaigns. You lead assigned process and plant improvement projects, taking ownership from scope development through training and commissioning. Reporting to the Manager Process Engineering Operations, you must excel at working independently or with a team towards deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a positive safety culture
• Drive continuous improvement of process units and operations
• Keep SOPs up to date with operational changes and MoCs
• Support equipment troubleshooting and drive improvements to uptime
• Act as Operations focal point for MoCs in your area
• Develop commissioning plans, training material, and SOP updates
• Coordinate with Production and Maintenance for timely execution
• Ensure work conforms to technical regulations and policies
• Verify accuracy in documentation with other engineering resources
• Identify opportunities to reduce plant CAPEX and improve process efficiency

Qualifications and Experience

• **Education:** BSc in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering
• **Experience:** 3 years in process or production plant engineering
• Experience with SOPs, MoCs, and PHAs
• EIT or PEng registered with EGBC
