**Roles and Responsibilities:**

• Maintain environmental protection and prioritize health and safety
• Implement safe work procedures for Technology Development equipment
• Design and construct test equipment at laboratory and pilot scales
• Perform experiments and analyze data
• Interpret results and communicate findings
• Define next steps for projects

**Qualifications:**

**Education Requirements:**

• B.Sc minimum or M.Sc/Ph.D. preferred in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
• Required to work in Canada
• Travel to U.S. required

**Experience:**

• Minimum of 2 years in academic or industrial laboratory environment
• Experience in industrial process chemistry is a plus
• Skills and Competencies:

• Knowledge of scientific principles
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills

**Physical Requirements:**

• Must lift 40 lbs, climb ladders, and wear personal protective equipment
• Respond to visual and audible alarms
