Primary Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer

The Manufacturing Engineer is a key member of the production management team. This person will coordinate production solutions and be the preventive maintenance owner. It is very important that the person in this role be good at delegating and identifying opportunities. They will work closely with our Manufacturing Tech to ensure our warehouse is reaching its full potential. Responsibilities include:

• Analyzing the production process schedules, methods, and other data.
• Providing management with reports containing data statistics to better understand future needs in the manufacturing process.
• Reviewing and calculating labor, materials, and other production costs for future production requirements.
• Analyzing workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Designing and implementing tool fixtures.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering or Associates of Engineering with 2 years of experience.
• Other related degrees with 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
• CAD and Lean Sigma experience.
