Midwest Mechanical Group Inc

**Position:** Maintenance Sales Representative **Location:** Lombard, IL 60148

The Maintenance Sales Representative generates new business by growing the maintenance base for Midwest Mechanical.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prospecting understanding the target markets and identifying potential customers to call on
  • Phone communication
  • Generate appointments with qualified potential customers by cold calling
  • Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to earn a relationship
  • Ability to accurately assess selling situations driving the Economic Buyer to a yes or no decision efficiently
  • Lead potential customers through a well-defined sales process to qualify every opportunity
  • Emphasize the features of service to highlight how it solves customer issues
  • Answer questions about service
  • Conduct a walk-thru survey of the prospective customer's equipment
  • Work with the Manager to develop pricing and required documents to close business
  • Meet with the prospective customer and review cost analysis evaluating current costs of operations vs our maintenance agreement pricing
  • Negotiate prices and terms to earn business
  • Prospect and develop an ongoing list of potential new contacts customers to call each week
  • Participate in ongoing sales training
  • Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors

Qualifications

  • **Education and/or Experience:** Higher education and continuing education a plus. Sales experience necessary. Knowledge of Sales Force a plus.
  • **Ability to navigate Social Media platforms (Linked In)**
  • **Time Management:** Follow good time management practices personally and within the organization to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • **Confidentiality:** Maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive information regarding the brand and performance of Midwest Mechanical, compensation levels, etc.
  • **Reasoning Ability:** Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in text, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects/tools/controls, and talk, see, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach above shoulders. The employee must be able to climb a ladder. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The employee must have a valid driver's license and a reliable car that can get them to appointments during the week.
