Climate Impact Partners, a leading provider of high-quality carbon credit programs, is seeking a Head of Carbon Project Delivery to join our Global Supply Chain team. This position will oversee the strategy of the Project Delivery team and contribute to the strategic development of Climate Impact Partner's global portfolio of carbon projects, focusing on Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) and Energy development under recognized voluntary carbon standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the portfolio of long-term contracts with project implementation partners to ensure timely delivery of carbon and other benefits within budget.
• Oversee portfolio monitoring and reporting to track project performance against key indicators and targets.
• Become a subject matter expert in all associated contracts, improving compliance and risk management.
• Identify and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
• Anticipate and capitalize on upside and expansion opportunities.
• Lead project visits and ensure consistent project quality and lessons learned across the portfolio.
• Evaluate and deploy technologies to enhance monitoring and data collection.
• Develop and implement a transformation plan for robust portfolio management systems.
• Provide timely project reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in managing long-term project development contracts or investments.
• Track record in commercial contract management, negotiation, and dispute resolution.
• Previous experience in portfolio management at a company with global operations.
• Exposure to challenges in emerging markets with diverse delivery partners.
• Desire to learn about carbon projects and sustainability initiatives.
