Climate Impact Partners is a leading provider of high-quality climate solutions dedicated to creating a more sustainable world. We are currently seeking a **Senior Business Development Manager** to join our Client Solutions team focusing on expanding our market-based environmental solutions in the EU.

**Role:** As a Senior Business Development Manager with Climate Impact Partners, you will play a crucial role in driving climate action by building strong partnerships with EU-based and international clients and promoting our sustainable solutions. You will be directly responsible for developing revenue and margin in the region by identifying, developing, and supporting new business leveraging our products and value-add services.

**Responsibilities:**

  1. **Business Development:** Collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate market-specific strategies to attract and secure clients. Identify and pursue opportunities within diverse industries for market-based environmental solutions.
  2. **Client Development:** Strengthen relationships with existing clients interested in enhancing their climate action efforts. Act as a trusted strategic advisor to clients in the EU region.
  3. **Market Research:** Stay updated on the latest trends and opportunities in environmental markets to deliver impactful climate solutions.

**Specific Tasks Include:**

  • Develop comprehensive sales strategies and go-to-market propositions
  • Achieve revenue and margin targets
  • Recruit and develop a client services team
  • Provide accurate financial forecasts and maintain an updated Salesforce pipeline
  • Demonstrate proven account planning and administration skills

**Capabilites and Experience:**

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Relevant commercial and sales experience, including familiarity with carbon and renewable energy markets and corporate sustainability
  • Strong sales and process management skills
  • Proficiency in solving complex problems and communicating technical products/services to non-technical audiences
  • Interest in corporate sustainability and addressing climate change
  • Consultative and collaborative approach with strong interpersonal skills
