Climate Impact Partners, a leading provider of high-quality carbon credit programs, is seeking an India Project Manager to join our Carbon Project Delivery team. The role involves successful project delivery under recognized voluntary carbon standards.

Role Description:

• Responsible for successful delivery of projects in India under voluntary carbon standards
• Manage long-term investments in development projects for emissions reductions
• Collaborate with project development partners on nature-based projects in emerging markets

Responsibilities:

• Manage long-term contracts with project partners to meet client commitments
• Onboard new development projects and ensure contract compliance
• Monitor project progress, identify and address risks, and develop mitigation plans
• Coordinate with Technical Manager for monitoring procedures and compliance
• Ensure payment processes are in line with contracts and support invoicing
• Build relationships with partners, support business scaling, and identify future opportunities
• Conduct annual project site visits, ensure health and safety protocols, and provide feedback
• Define best practices for project and portfolio management
• Provide accurate reporting to management and support client solutions teams
• Develop knowledge of carbon asset development processes and relevant methodologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, project management, or related field
• Experience in project management, preferably in carbon credit programs
• Knowledge of voluntary carbon standards and emissions reduction projects
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally for project visits
