Job description:

Enfinity is looking for a Head of Asset Management (Japan) to manage the asset fleet in the country.

This person will be hands on in the field as needed to handle the O&M of the plants owned by Enfinity and involved in commissioning and on-going maintenance of projects installed in the field as well as leading the financial reporting to investors and other stakeholders.

As Head of Asset Management, you will cover a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the performance across a portfolio of renewable energy assets.

Key responsibilities:

• Asset Strategy: Develop and implement asset management strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives for solar energy generation.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of solar assets, including energy production, equipment efficiency, and overall system reliability.
• Maintenance Planning: Develop maintenance plans and schedules to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of solar generation assets.
• Risk Management: Identify and assess risks associated with solar assets, such as equipment failures, regulatory changes, and market fluctuations, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis of solar assets, including cost-benefit analysis, revenue forecasting, and budget management.
• Contract Management: Oversee contracts with suppliers, service providers, and off-takers to ensure compliance and maximize value for solar generation assets.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, permits, and licensing requirements for solar energy generation.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on the performance and financial metrics of solar assets for senior management and stakeholders, including the Lenders.
• Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, such as operations, finance, and legal teams, as well as external stakeholders, including investors, customers, and regulatory agencies.
• Innovation and Optimization: Explore opportunities for innovation and optimization in solar asset management, such as implementing new technologies, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing revenue streams.
• Responsible for HSE: driving and maintaining quality, health and safety standards in all operating assets.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in relevant discipline (Engineering or similar).
• At least 15 years of experience within the renewable energy industry working in asset management/O&M of PV projects.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Italian (Spanish is highly desirable)
• Experience working with PV/BESSregulated assets.
