Job Description

• Perform individual internal audit engagements as part of the total internal audit plan
• Provide reasonable assurance that Masdar's internal controls achieve objectives and promote efficiency
• Assist in compliance with laws and regulations
• Conduct annual risk assessment and develop internal audit plan
• Supervise advisory and internal audit engagements from planning to reporting phase
• Review and optimize renewable energy asset portfolio strategies
• Evaluate Merger Acquisition (M&A) investment cases
• Utilize advanced data analytics techniques
• Prepare and review risk and control matrix
• Manage client relationships and ensure satisfaction
• Implement action plans for improvement as identified
• Oversee compliance with Continuous Monitoring requirements
• Lead in self-assessments and validation against standards
• Perform quality assurance reviews of audit reports
• Provide feedback and training based on review results
• Identify and support advisory engagement opportunities
• Support annual risk assessment exercise
• Develop and validate risk registers
• Support in advisory engagements in the domain of asset management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Professional certification (e.g. CIA, CPA, CISA)
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in internal audit
• Strong knowledge of renewable energy industry
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with audit management software
