Your Responsibilities

• New development/adaptation of software components in the area of Embedded Linux and Connectivity while adhering to established software development processes
• Creating software specifications and software architecture documents
• Coding and documenting modules/SW components
• Performing and documenting unit/module tests
• Participating in code and specification reviews
• Integrating, testing the modules/components in the overall system
• Creating test specifications for integration laboratory tests
• Participating in the selection of SW components
• Adapting/developing and supporting test software for the production of inverters

Your Profile

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Technical Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent education
• Several years of experience in software engineering based on established software development processes
• Knowledge of common communication interfaces/protocols desirable
• Experience with programming in C and Python
• Knowledge in databases SQLite
• Experience in Embedded Linux and related production environments advantageous
• Proven experience in handling SW version control tools, preferably GIT and GitLab
• Knowledge of Agile methods and DevOps mindset including Continuous Integration advantageous
• Certified LabView Architect CLA or equivalent knowledge
• Knowledge in Object-Oriented Design as well as Multiple Processes and IPC under LabView advantageous
• Excellent German language skills in written and spoken (C2 Level)
• Good English language skills in written and spoken (B2 to C1 Level)
• Experience in developing web applications with JavaScript and Node.js advantageous
