Job Description

• Responsible for developing corporate positions and statements in the field of heat and energy efficiency regulation.
• Act as a liaison between product development, business models in the heat and energy efficiency sector, and the policy/regulation team.
• Conduct research, monitor political developments, and legislative initiatives at the European and German levels, focusing on measures to promote energy efficiency in buildings and the use of renewable energies in the heat sector.
• Build and maintain our network with political institutions and associations in the heat and energy efficiency policy field actively.
• Independently prepare briefings, decision proposals, and presentations on heat and energy efficiency policy topics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
• In-depth knowledge of political institutions, legislative processes, and political structures in Germany and the EU.
• Solution-oriented approach to new challenges with project coordination skills.
• High self-motivation to drive project topics responsibly and achieve results.
• Several years of practical experience in the political sector, e.g., in associations, NGOs, parliaments, or companies.
• Strong communication skills in German and English, both verbally and in writing.
• Independent work style, flexibility with business trips, and a passion for renewable energy.
