Job Title

Project Manager

Business Development

**Mission**: As a Project Manager in the Victorian Development team, you will develop greenfield utility-scale solar, wind, and storage projects from the site identification phase to the point of handover to our construction team. You may also assist in identifying, analyzing, and acquiring brownfield projects. The role includes the following objectives:

  • Support Neoen's development in Victoria.
  • Analyze renewable energy market trends in Victoria.
  • Utilize project management and contract management skills to manage tasks, deadlines, and priorities.
  • Assess and participate in tenders for electricity procurement and generation certificates.
  • Network with renewable energy market participants to identify and foster project partnerships.
  • Create reports outlining partnership opportunities for Neoen's senior management.
  • Manage Neoen's renewable energy projects.

**Other Duties**:

  • Co-ordinate all efforts required for financial close and construction of greenfield and acquired projects.
  • Negotiate agreements, option deeds, and lease agreements with landowners.
  • Negotiate easement option deeds with councils and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate connection agreements with Network Service Providers.
  • Liaise with experts and consultants for various project-related matters.
  • Co-ordinate development plans and applications with authorities.
  • Achieve Development Approval and all other permits required.
  • Oversee installation of meteorological stations and wind masts.
  • Hand over control of projects to Neoen's construction and operations team upon financial close.

Profile

**Skills and Experience**:

  • Tertiary degree in relevant fields such as engineering, law, or science.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in renewable energy project development.
  • Management and supervision skills.
  • Understanding of dealing with local councils and planning authorities.
  • Self-motivated and dedicated to Neoen's core values.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration.
