**Position Specific Description:** Work with internal NextEra teams to manage the interconnection related engineering items. This position will be expected to understand the interconnection process from application through Commercial Operation and become a Subject Matter Expert for their assigned ISO's. Work with NextEra corporate office engineering construction and commissioning teams to coordinate submittals and interconnection deliverables with the Transmission Owners (TO) and Operators (ISO) and Power Purchasing Agreement Clients. This position will be responsible for reviewing the Purchase Power Agreements and Interconnection Agreements and provide critical engineering feedback to teams negotiating these agreements. The responsibilities will include tracking deliverables and milestones per the requirements of the project agreements and interfacing with the TO, ISO, and PPA clients to ensure all items associated with design performance telemetry backfeed initial synchronization and Commercial Operation Date are accomplished.

• Prepares communications, presentations, and provides support at meetings
• Formulates researches and develops improvement measures
• Works with other departments within the organization to establish customer requirements and project costs
• Ability to meet attendance and storm duty requirements
• Ability to work extended hours
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

**Required Qualifications:**

• Valid Driver's License NON-CDL
• Bachelor's Engineering
• Experience: 5 years

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• Certified Professional Engineer (PE)
• Six Sigma Black Belt Certified
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
• Master's Degree
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certified
• Six Sigma Master Black Belt
