What you will do

A Content Specialist at Turo is an expert on Turo’s product and policies, including all customer-facing content on help.turo.com. They are an excellent writer who can write in a certain tone for the right situations, while maintaining Turo’s voice. They are a team player, an effective communicator, an independent worker, and an innovator. They possess Turo’s values of grounded, expressive, bold, and driven.

  • Develop a full understanding of Turo’s content library and keep it up-to-date, easy-to-read, and in line with the Turo voice and tone
  • Create and edit new help center articles, email templates, and relevant content
  • Write, rewrite, and edit content that engages and informs readers while meeting our internal editorial standards for readability
  • Keep the content tracking system accurate and current
  • Work with Operations, Product, Engineering, and relevant stakeholders to update policies, articles, and email templates
  • Build productive internal/external working relationships to resolve mutual problems through collaboration
  • Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action

Your profile

  • 3+ years of content specialist experience
  • Deep passion for writing clear, concise content that elevates the customer experiences
  • Superb technical writing, editing, proofreading, and project management skills
  • Strong organizational skills - you can maintain systems to manage content across many geographies and teams
  • An innate sense of curiosity
  • Bachelor’s degree required

The Phoenix base salary target range for this full-time position is $63,000-$71,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in Phoenix. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your work location during the hiring process. Please note that the salary range listed in this posting reflects the base salary only, and does not include bonus (if applicable), equity, or benefits.
