Role Summary

Magna Steyr Italy is looking for a new team member for the HV Battery System Development Department in the Turin area. Engage in exciting projects within a high-performance environment where we collaborate with leading global car manufacturers to develop cutting-edge automotive technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Design battery pack system architecture and lead technical development of battery projects
• Calculation design of electrical and mechanical HV switch-off devices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications
• Develop battery systems or sub-systems ensuring functional, safe, and compliant solutions
• Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate technologies, materials, and components for battery systems
• Create technical documentation and reports to communicate project progress

Key Qualifications Requirements

• Technical education in Electric Electronic Engineering or similar
• Minimum 2-3 years as a System Architect Engineer within the automotive industry
• Understanding of circuit design, power electronics, and vehicle wiring
• Experience with Systems Requirement Engineering Tools
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in Italian and proficient in English
