Summary:

The BMS Engineer plays a crucial role in our company's HV Battery System Development Dept. We require skilled engineers who can lead the technical development of battery projects with customers around the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Definition of the requirements for the Battery Management System HW/SW up to DVP planning
  • Coordination of all relevant HW/SW development topics with the BMS development partner
  • Development design of the LV/E/E HV system architecture
  • Supplier Management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration and optimization
  • Create technical documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate project progress

Required Skills:

  • Technical education in Electric/Electronic/Computer Engineering or similar
  • Proven experience in the development of embedded systems and/or battery management
  • Understanding of circuit design, both digital and analog, embedded circuits, SoCs, etc., and power electronics
  • Understanding of Systems Requirement Engineering Tools, e.g. IBM DOORS, MicroFocus ALM
  • Basic understanding SW function development, electrics, etc.
  • Desirable: Matlab, Python, automotive data application tools, Vector CANoe, ETAS
  • Communicative, team-oriented, and assertive personality
  • Strong communication/presentation skills
  • Vehicle development process knowledge
  • Fluent in Italian and very good English knowledge
  • Availability for occasional business trips
  • EU citizenship or Full-time Working Permit required
