Job Description

As a Quality Engineer at Microvast, you will be responsible for ensuring the material flow of various components in the production of our battery modules. You will support production in process optimizations and initiate corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality assurance measures in manufacturing processes in the automotive industry according to test specifications
• Perform visual and functional inspections as well as fitment tests
• Participate in FMEA creation, design, processes, and support in handling internal and external complaints
• Document and conduct event-related and production-accompanying inspections as specified
• Develop and update production-accompanying test specifications and instructions
• Create and implement quality tools to control and monitor our production processes and report to quality management

Qualifications

• Completed technical education, preferably in the metal or automotive mechatronics field
• Engineering degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
• Experience in quality assurance, good knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 standards, and experience with Automotive Core Tools
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic components is desirable
• Proficient in common quality management methods, practical knowledge in Lean practices
• Team player with strong communication skills and a confident demeanor
• Excellent German and good English language skills (written and spoken)
