**Job Location:** CNS Y12 TN Oak Ridge TN **Position Type:** Full Time On Site

Boston Government Services is seeking a Piping Engineer to support Y12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge Tn which provides integral mission support to the NNSA. Boston Government Services (BGS) is an engineering technology and security firm helping to advance missions of national importance for government programs, national laboratories, national security facilities, nuclear operations, and complex projects.

**Responsibilities:**

• Provide CNS Mission Engineering with piping design engineering support for facility and production area activities in Cat 2 and Cat 3 facilities
• Provide design output documentation to support minor facility modifications
• Develop designs in accordance with ASME B31.3 and ASME B31.1
• Work with other engineering disciplines and other plant organizations to produce timely design output
• Perform field walkdowns and work in a production environment

**Qualifications Requirements:**

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited school with a minimum of 5 years experience
• Requires an understanding of Conduct of Engineering, Conduct of Operations, Conduct of Maintenance for facilities operating within a nuclear regulated environment
• Familiarity with and experience in developing designs in accordance with ASME B31.3 and ASME B31.1
• Requires strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with various clients, production and support organizations, management, and hourly wage employees
• Must be a US citizen
• Successful drug screening
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• 20 plus years of relevant professional experience
• A Professional Engineering License (PE)
• An Active Q Clearance
• Experience in an NRC or DOE regulated environment
