**PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES**

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sustainability Procurement Associate Specialist to join our procurement team. The Sustainability Procurement Associate Specialist will provide support in implementing sustainable sourcing initiatives, conducting research, and assisting in data analysis to drive continuous improvement across our supply chain. This role is also expected to support procurement activities in data center COLO, public and private cloud, and/or network infrastructure categories and offers an excellent opportunity for professional development and growth.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**

  • Develop and implement a sustainability strategy for procurement aligning with the company's overall sustainability goals and objectives.
  • Conduct research on sustainable procurement practices including environmental, social, and ethical considerations to support decision-making and drive innovation.
  • Evaluate and assess supplier sustainability performance, including environmental, social, and ethical practices through audits, assessments, and third-party certifications.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating sustainability-related data and documentation, including supplier sustainability profiles, certifications, and compliance records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability criteria into procurement processes, supplier selection criteria, and contract negotiations.
  • Support supplier engagement activities, including meetings, workshops, and training to communicate sustainability expectations and foster partnerships based on shared values.
  • Monitor and track key sustainability metrics related to procurement activities, analyzing data to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation of sustainability reports, presentations, and communications to share progress and achievements internally and externally.
  • Support efficiencies and optimization of procurement activities within the GPO Cloud Infrastructure and Network team.

**WHAT YOU BRING**

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, procurement, sustainability, finance, IT, engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 years of experience in procurement, finance, or related field preferred.
  • Internship or coursework experience in sustainability procurement or IT category projects is a plus.
  • Passion for sustainability and a genuine interest in driving positive environmental and social impact through responsible procurement practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and analyze data to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

**MEET YOUR TEAM**

The IT Cloud Procurement Teams, as part of the Global Procurement Organization, define and execute in close collaboration with business owners, corporate legal, finance, and controlling the global sourcing strategies and supplier management. Within your daily tasks, you will work closely with the category managers and buyers around the world of the three teams: IT Hardware Security, Cloud Infrastructure Network, and Software Telecoms. You can expect a very diverse and highly motivated team with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
