**What you'll do** We are looking for a passionate Senior AI Developer f/m/d with a strong background in data science model training and tuning and a solid overview of existing AI technologies, especially LLMs. As a Senior AI Developer f/m/d, you will ensure that our SAP Sustainability Control Tower is ready for the realization of advanced AI use cases. You will help identify opportunities for AI features, design them with the Scrum teams, and implement them. You are expected to coach and educate the team and collaborate with other AI experts from our unit. You will also help the team with regular Java and potentially JavaScript and TypeScript software development.

**What you bring**

• Open and friendly team player with a service-oriented can-do attitude willing to learn new things and share knowledge with other team members.
• Very good development skills in Java, specifically Spring Boot.
• Software engineering experience of AI-related projects using advanced techniques like vector databases, LLMs (Large Language Models), and NLPs (Natural Language Processing).
• Good understanding of best practices in AI, e.g., reliability, performance, security, ethics.
• Experience in all aspects of designing and creating high-quality cloud-native code and a strong sense of quality.
• Fluent in English written and verbal.

**Preferred Knowledge** Knowledge of SAP technologies such as the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) and Fiori Elements.

We are very international, with approximately 20 colleagues from about 10 different countries. We are part of a growth unit developing SAP Sustainability Control Tower, which is a steering and reporting cloud application that helps our customers set their sustainability goals and gather valuable insights on how to achieve them. #SAPMunichCareers
