**The Role:** The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. With its more than 1400 professionals, SAP Labs Bulgaria also has strong contributions toward life cycle management, user interface, user experience across the broader portfolio of SAP products, and has recently welcomed new teams focusing on business applications. For its 24-year history, the company has established itself as a preferred employer in the IT sector in Bulgaria.

**Purpose and Objectives:** Sustainability lies at the heart of SAP's vision. Circular Economy is a way to design, make, and use resources within planetary boundaries by shifting to a system that designs out waste and pollution. As a market leader in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), SAP's customers have large and diverse spectrum of sustainability needs. The Circular Economy business applications aim to provide tailored solutions to each sustainability need by leveraging the power of SAP HANA database and cloud delivery model.

**Role Overview:** To meet our customers' requirements, we are setting up a new team to develop the Circular Economy solution as a business application running on top of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). For this team, we are looking for a talented, creative, team-oriented, and highly motivated Development Architect.

**Expectations and Tasks:**

• Drive architecture and design concept definition
• Research and evaluate new technologies and frameworks
• Support the team with various software development tasks
• Work in a cross-functional team of talented and motivated colleagues
• Mentor, encourage, and motivate the team members

**Education and Qualifications:**

• University degree in Computer Science
• Strong experience with object-oriented programming (Java)
• Experience with RDBMS and SQL
• Experience with data structures and algorithms
• Fluency in English

**Skills and Competencies:**

• Experience with Spring technologies is an advantage
• SAP HANA experience is an advantage
• Experience with SAP BTP, CAP with Java, FioriElements, SAPUI5 is an advantage
• Problem-solving, analytical, and architectural skills
• Excellent team player with strong communication skills
• Passionate about his/her work, self-motivated, and driven

**Work Experience:** At least 6 years of relevant experience.
