The Opportunity

The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in defining and developing the SAP Business Technology Platform. With its more than 1400 professionals, SAP Labs Bulgaria also has strong contributions towards life cycle management, user interface, user experience across the broader portfolio of SAP products, and has recently welcomed new teams focusing on business applications. For its 24 year history, the company has established itself as a preferred employer in the IT sector in Bulgaria.

Purpose and Objectives

Circular Economy keeps the value of products and materials as long as possible and regenerates natural systems. As a market leader in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), SAP's customers have large and diverse spectrum of sustainability needs. The Circular Economy business applications aim to provide tailored solutions to each sustainability need by leveraging the power of SAP HANA database and cloud delivery model.

To meet our customers' requirements, we are setting up a new team to develop the Circular Economy solution as a business application running on top of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). For this team, we are looking for a talented, creative, team-oriented, and highly motivated Senior Full Stack Developer.

Expectations and Tasks

• Design, implement, test, and operate business applications on top of BTP following Agile Software Engineering practices.
• Take autonomous technical decisions within own context.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and frameworks in the context of the business application domain.
• Mentor, encourage, and motivate the team members.
• Work in a cross-functional team of talented and motivated colleagues following agile methodologies and the industry's best practices.

Education and Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science.
• Experience with object-oriented programming, Java.
• Experience with RDBMS and SQL. HANA experience is an advantage.
• Experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with web technologies like JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Problem-solving, analytical, and architectural skills.
• Creative thinking, willingness, and ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies.
• Excellent team player with strong communication skills, passionate about work, self-motivated, and driven.
• Fluency in English.

Work Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
