Job Description

Our client is seeking a talented Strategy Consulting Manager specializing in Energy & Utilities to join their dynamic team. This role will focus on providing strategic guidance and insights to clients within Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Transmission System Operators (TSO), and Smart Grid sectors. As a Manager, you will lead consulting engagements, develop innovative strategies, and drive impactful solutions in the rapidly evolving energy landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage consulting projects focused on strategy development, market analysis, and operational improvement within the Energy & Utilities sector, specifically T&D, TSO, and Smart Grid domains
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their challenges, identify opportunities, and provide tailored recommendations that align with their business objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth industry research, market assessments, and competitive analysis to inform strategic recommendations and business decisions
  • Develop financial models, business cases, and implementation plans to support strategic initiatives and drive measurable outcomes for clients.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and fostering long-term partnerships.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (6+ years) in management consulting within the Energy & Utilities industry, focusing on T&D, TSO, or Smart Grid sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategies.
  • Deep understanding of energy market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and emerging trends impacting T&D and Smart Grid technologies.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, quantitative analysis, and strategy development.
