Sales Manager MSS SSA

  • **Position:** Sales Manager MSS SSA
  • **Employment Type:** Permanent employee
  • **Work Schedule:** Full time
  • **Location:** Nairobi, Kenya

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage existing accounts as directed by the Regional Sales Manager
  • Develop a pipeline of potential and acquire new accounts by locating key decision-makers
  • Build stable sales relationships to generate sales in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) markets
  • Negotiate price, volume, contract terms, and conditions with customers and prospects
  • Coordinate with all internal departments to solve any commercial, technical, or financial objections of customers
  • Represent the company’s brand in front of existing and new accounts
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes, policies, and external regulations
  • Participate in bi-weekly calls and travel to Munich headquarters

  • Strong knowledge and skills in MS Office, Excel, CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Willingness and ability to travel (approximately 40%)

Languages

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in any additional Indigenous African languages is a plus

Location

  • Nairobi, Kenya

Requirements

  • Minimum undergraduate degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • 3 years of solar industry experience in a sales role
  • Demonstrated sales experience within the SSA region or equivalent international expertise
  • Industry network is highly desirable
