We are looking for a self-starting senior back end engineer to help build ‘Husk Neuron’, a data driven intelligence layer. Husk is looking for Senior Engineers to join our engineering team to lead the design and development of sophisticated tech to collect, transform and enrich data in a fast, scale and reliable way. This is an opportunity to solve complex problems across domains at a fast-growing, mission driven company.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for API testing using Python and Pytest.
• Develop automation framework for API testing with Robot Framework, Postman or any other suitable framework.
• Data integrity validation by conducting database testing.
• Write SQL queries to verify data accuracy and perform data migration testing when necessary.
• Create and execute UI test cases to ensure a seamless user experience. Identify and report UI-related issues and work closely with developers to resolve them.
• Designing and improvement of the automation testing framework and implementing best practices for test automation, maintain code quality, and enhance test coverage.
• Collaborating with the team to solve application faults and prioritize testing efforts.
• Ensure all testing activities are well-documented for reference and compliance purposes.
• Familiarity with mobile testing techniques and tools.

Establish test automation processes and involve in evaluating/planning the automation roadmap.

• Basic understanding in CI/CD pipeline (Jenkin/Azure)
• Good to have knowledge of JIRA/Azure DevOps as Bug tracking tool also Agile methodology for tracking the process flow.

QualificationsRequirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with Pytest for API test automation.
• Strong knowledge of manual testing principles and methodologies.
• Experience with database testing, including writing SQL queries.
• Familiarity with UI testing tools and frameworks.
• eCommerce domain expertise, with an understanding of online shopping processes.
• Knowledge of mobile testing techniques and tools, Ex C# and React Native
• Experience in designing and maintaining automation testing frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must have a knowledge of GitHub/Bitbucket as version control tool.
• ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
