About the role

NGET is at the heart of energy in the UK. The electricity provided gets the nation to work, powers schools, and brings energy to life. In NGET, operating the network safely and providing reliable quality of supply for customers is essential. As a Procedures Coordinator, you will maintain SHES Security and Technical procedures for NGET, ensuring they are up to date and accessible. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining processes for effective visibility of Safety Health Environmental Security and Quality related procedures, bulletins, and supporting guidance. You will champion procedural compliance and share good practices across NGET.

This role offers flexible working arrangements with travel to team meetings in Warwick. It is a fixed-term contract for up to 12 months to cover maternity leave.

What you'll need

  • Experience with document management tools and SharePoint
  • Understanding of the Electricity Transmission business, safety risks, and compliance issues
  • Expertise in document control processes
  • Ability to create meaningful KPIs for performance improvements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent report writing skills and ability to summarize information effectively
