Power Bi Specialist

We are a sustainable infrastructure company with a majority of our business in renewable energy assets. We complement our portfolio of renewable assets with storage, efficient natural gas, and transmission infrastructure assets, as enablers of the transition towards a clean energy mix. We currently own or have an interest in a portfolio of diversified assets in terms of business sector and geographic footprint. Our portfolio consists of 40 assets with 2,048 MW of aggregate renewable energy installed generation capacity (of which approximately 72% is solar), 343 MW of efficient natural gas-fired power generation capacity, 55MWt of district heating capacity, 1,229 miles of electric transmission lines and 17.5 M ft3 per day of water desalination.

We own and manage operating facilities throughout the North America, South America and EMEA regions. We are currently seeking for a Power BI Specialist to work with and strengthen our IT team based in Seville’s office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop and Service.
• Connect to various data sources (e.g., SQL databases, Excel files, APIs) and transform data for analysis.
• Design engaging and informative data visualizations that communicate complex information effectively.
• Apply best practices for data governance, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data-related challenges.
• Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features and trends.
• Provide training and support to users on Power BI tools and best practices.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in dashboards and reports.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and build scalable, efficient data models.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or other STEM-equivalent majors.
• Excellent English language skills (written and speaking) C1 level is a must.

• Strong understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
• Excellent data visualization skills with a keen eye for design and usability.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Proven ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
• Experience working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Technical Qualifications

• Experience of at least 2 years or more working with Power BI, desirable experience in other tools like Tableau, Qlink, Looker, etc.
• Strong knowledge ofSQL, data modeling, and business intelligence concepts.
• Experience in developing and optimizingPower BI dashboards and reports.
• Experience withDAX, Power Query, and other data transformation tools.
• Experience withAzure Data Services (e.g., Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Factory) is a plus.
