About the Role

As a certified B Corporation, our business is our mission. At 3Degrees, we connect people with renewable energy on a global scale, providing renewable energy and carbon offset solutions to Fortune 500 companies, utilities, universities, green building firms, and other organizations working towards sustainability. As an Originator, you will join a team dedicated to shaping our strategy and driving wholesale growth across Europe. Your responsibilities include developing and managing customer relationships, proposing and structuring renewable energy certificate purchases, and wholesale sales in the European market.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in environmental commodity trading
• Deep knowledge of regulatory environment and negotiating wholesale purchases/sales
• Strong customer relationship management skills within European markets
• Strategic thinking and planning abilities
• Excellent communication skills in English, additional European languages a plus

Success Metrics

• **Within 30 days**: Gain foundational understanding of 3Degrees business, tools, and processes.
• **Within 60 days**: Develop practical understanding of portfolio management tools and CRM system.
• **Within 90 days**: Actively manage commercial relationships and engage networks.
• **Within 6 months**: Independently implement origination and procurement strategies.
• **Within 12 months**: Demonstrate substantial value generation.
