**ABOUT THE ROLE** 3Degrees is a certified B Corporation, which means that our business is our mission. We connect people with renewable energy on a global scale, providing renewable energy and carbon offset solutions to various organizations. As a Compliance Originator, you will join a team dedicated to shaping strategy and driving value across North America.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO:**

• Develop and manage counterparty relationships
• Propose and structure renewable energy certificate purchases and sales in unbundled compliance REC market in the US
• Achieve origination goals and work closely with trading teammates
• Identify and execute on new portfolio opportunities and trading strategies
• Collaborate with various teams to achieve portfolio objectives

**ABOUT YOU:**

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental commodity trading or origination
• Collaborative team player with strong organizational skills
• Excellent communicator who can work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of regulatory environment and experience in wholesale purchases and sales in compliance markets
• Experience in developing and maintaining strong counterparty relationships

**HOW WE DEFINE SUCCESS:**

• Within 30 days: Develop understanding of portfolio management tools and basic origination strategies
• Within 90 days: Actively managing commercial relationships and expanding your network
• Within 6 months: Demonstrating ability to contribute substantial value to the REC portfolio

**COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:**

• Starting base pay: $110,000 to $126,000
• Eligible for benefits package
• Discretionary bonus programs available
• Total compensation package may exceed base pay
