Material Planner

Your Roles

• Ensure early engagement and effective communication between Project Management, Engineering and the site PC&L department in such areas as production planning, material planning, transportation for new product launch and engineering changes.
• Coordinate and Ensure timely BOM / EDI release in SAP for long Leadtime components and early communication to supplier
• Transmit the demand through EDI to suppliers up to 18 months  and ensure suppliers shipping right parts/right quantity as per schedules
• Coordinate the activities related to the sample builds (BIFs)- Receive, review and work with Customer Order Processing team to have all Build Information Forms (BIFs) correctly incorporated in SAP. Monitor the material availability for upcoming planned builds, execute production plan. Assure build cost are booked properly on BIF internal Orders.
• Maintain supply chain inventory as per norms
• Cost effective, ZERO line down/ Downtime within controllable factors
• Meet department goals and contribute to cost savings and carryout special assignment when required.

 Your Background

• Bachelor's degree in engineering in EEE, ECE, MECH
• Min 5 years of experience in semiconductor, Supply chain management
• Handled supplier commodities like Sheet metal, Plastic and rubber parts.
• Knowledge and experience in a SAP environment
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Excellent organizational and project management skill
• Awareness of different digital systems and tools in the field of supply chain management
