Shape the Future of Solar: International Logistics Supervisor at Trina Tracker

Are you a logistics mastermind ready to drive efficiency in a global industry?

Trina Tracker, a leading solar tracker manufacturer within the Trina Solar family, is seeking a passionate International Logistics Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Brazil (São Paulo or Salvador).

In this pivotal role, you'll be the mastermind behind our international logistics operations. You'll ensure smooth import and export processes, navigate customs regulations with ease, and optimize our entire logistics chain, all while playing a vital role in supporting our Brazilian factory.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee all aspects of international logistics for our Brazilian operations, ensuring timely delivery and seamless customs clearance.
  • Become an expert in Brazilian customs regulations: Stay up-to-date on changes and ensure compliance across all import and export activities.
  • Navigate HS classification with expertise, particularly in Chapters 73, 84, and 85, for smooth import processes.
  • Secure necessary import licenses efficiently, navigating the Brazilian customs landscape.
  • Build strong relationships with customs officials to streamline clearance processes.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Latin American customs to navigate diverse trade scenarios effectively.
  • Analyze import processes (maritime and air) and associated costs, calculating expenses proactively.
  • Maximize cost-saving opportunities by leveraging existing tax benefits at ports and airports.
  • Collaborate effectively with the broader logistics team, driving efficiency through innovation.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in International Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in import and export operations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in customs regulations and procedures.
  • Proficiency in import/export documentation and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Master of office software (communication & documentation) and familiar with TMS (Transportation Management Systems).
  • Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
