THE ROLE

The Internal Controls Analyst will support the Americas Region and Shared Services in performing and maintaining a strong internal control environment to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and safeguarding of company assets.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform user access activities to ensure that appropriate Segregation of Duties are maintained
  • Organize and perform user access reviews (UARs) for the Americas and Shared Services systems and other systems as necessary
  • Executing Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls as needed (i.e. Outside Service Provider assessments)
  • Performing Sarbanes-Oxley testing of key controls for the Americas and Shared Services
  • Perform other audits as necessary (i.e. customer banking vendor special audits)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or CIA certification a plus
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience
  • Previous Auditing and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance experience
  • Previous experience in documenting SOX controls, Control Matrix Narratives, IPE
  • Must have strong knowledge of United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
  • Requires demonstrated skill in written and oral communications
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized; articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to engage business process owners in a direct yet professional manner, thoroughly evaluate business processes
  • Ability to think creatively, highly driven, and self-motivated
  • Mix of public accounting and publicly traded company experience
  • Prior user access and segregation of duties review experience
  • Experience with Workiva and TeamGuru
