Job Summary
All summer interns will work in departments that support solar module assembly. All interns will be responsible for following the established procedures, following all safety protocols and workplace policies to ensure profitable business operations. Interns will report into Human Resources but work closely with a Business Leader directly on their team. This is a part-time internship offering 20 hours per week of paid work. All student internships will occur Monday-Friday between 8AM-5PM on a schedule mutually agreed upon by the manager and intern. The internship starts Monday, June 17, 2024, and ends Friday, July 26, 2024.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Working on projects, data collection, and process improvement
- Communicating, collaborating, and presenting a summer project
- Reading and interpreting standard operating procedures, policies, blueprints, and drawings
- Adhering to health and safety rules and procedures
- Coordinating the timely delivery of raw materials
- Collaborating with procurement and production teams
- Managing material storage and organization
- Working closely with suppliers
- Maintaining accurate documentation
- Identifying and addressing any issues or delays in material flow
- Implementing quality control procedures
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a current DISD or local high school student
- Must be graduating May 2024
- Able to perform repetitive tasks, walk and stand for long periods of time, and perform physical labor activities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Office 365
- Communication skills
- Attention to quality and detail
