Green Hydrogen is pivotal to our net-zero mission, given its wide-ranging industrial and transport applications. Traditional hydrogen production from fossil fuels results in significant carbon dioxide emissions. However, our innovative technologies utilize renewable energy and water to produce green hydrogen emission-free. We're dedicated to enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and scaling up manufacturing to meet the growing demand in the green hydrogen market.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Buyer specializing in the renewable energy sector, particularly focused on electrolyzers. As a Senior Buyer, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring electrolyzer equipment and components for our renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in procurement, strong negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the renewable energy industry, specifically electrolyzer technology.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute procurement strategies for energy materials, analytical instrumentation electrical equipment, electrolyzer stack components and balance of plants to support our Green H2 initiatives.

Source and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct supplier assessments, and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve optimal value for the organization.

Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including engineering, project management, and finance teams, to ensure alignment of procurement activities with project requirements and budgetary constraints.

Manage the procurement process from RFQ (Request for Quotation) to PO (Purchase Order) issuance, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Monitor market trends, industry developments, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and process improvements.

Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure quality and reliability of supply.

Stay informed about advancements in electrolyzer technology, emerging suppliers, and regulatory changes impacting the renewable energy sector.

Lead cross-functional teams to drive cost reduction initiatives, supplier diversification efforts, and sustainable procurement practices.

Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior members of the procurement team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.

A strong background in technology and engineering disciplines is desirable.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in the sector of fuel cells, batteries electrolyzers or other technologies .

Demonstrated expertise in negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings initiatives.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, conduct market research, and make informed decisions.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Proven track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects from conception to completion.

Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and certifications related to renewable energy and electrolyzer technology.

Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Strong commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.

Salary: $100k - $140k + Annual Performance Bonus depending on appropriate experience

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm
