Job Description

QHSE Inspector:

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring proper compliance with the legal requirements related to the CE Marking.

• Follows up on factory production control in accordance with the requirements of the UNE EN ISO 3834 application standards.

• Ensures the correct compliance with the work operations in the factory through the development of internal control audits.

• Ensures the proper functioning of the operating machinery of factory work through periodic reviews and calibrations.

• It carries out documentary monitoring and control of the records generated in the production process to guarantee the traceability of the products with respect to the raw materials and resources involved in the production process.

• It carries out documentary monitoring and control of the records generated in the suppliers' production process to guarantee the traceability of the products originating from suppliers destined for the work.

• Prepares quality documentation for delivery to the client after completion of the work. Quality dossiers.

• Homologation of suppliers prior to the beginning of the manufacture of the parts.

• Supervision of suppliers' material with the interpretation of the dimensional standards for steel UNE-EN 10143, UNE-EN 10305-5, UNE-EN 10051, UNE-EN 10034

• Supervision of supplier material with the interpretation of the regulations for galvanized materials UNE-EN ISO 1461, UNE-EN 10346, ASTM-A153.

• Follow up and control the transport and assembly work of manufactured parts, if applicable.

• Performance of non-destructive tests (NDT) according to UNE EN ISO 9712.

• Carry out a control by supervising the material manufacturing procedure in the factory.

• Avoid misuse and waste of water. Make sure to turn off equipment and lights at the end of the day.

• Separate and deposit each type of waste in the containers designated for it. Avoid mixing hazardous and non-hazardous waste

• In the event of a spill, collect with materials intended for it and place the waste generated in the corresponding containers.

• Respect and enforce Good Environmental Practices.

• Ensure the safety and health of workers.

• Provide training in environmental awareness, quality, and occupational risk prevention to factory operators.

• Ensure order and cleanliness in our facilities.

Job Requirements:

  • Training: In quality and environmental management systems (ISO 9001/ISO14001)
  • Experience: Extensive background in Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) departments and proven track record in comparable roles within relevant industry sectors.
  • Personal Skill: Global vision of the business, responsible and organizational capacity.
