The Role

• Design and implement software for embedded devices and systems from requirements to production
• Design, develop, code, test, and debug system software
• Review code and design
• Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources
• Integrate and validate new product designs
• Support software QA and optimize I/O performance
• Provide post-production support
• Interface with hardware design and development

Qualifications

• Bsc/Msc in mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field
• Solid programming knowledge in C or C++
• Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review
• Knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces, and hardware subsystems

Advantages

• Experience in software engineering
• Hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets
• Embedded systems design experience with preemptive multitasking real-time operating systems
• Ability to read schematics and data sheets for components
• Knowledge of development processes and tool chains in automotive software development
• Knowledge of the AUTOSAR architecture and software integration
• Familiarity with automotive standards like ASPICE and ISO26262
• Knowledge of CyberSecurity algorithms
