Job Description:

In the role of the Automotive Software Cyber Security Engineer, you will be closely connected to our customers and experts in e-mobility applications like Electric Drive Systems, Battery Management Systems, etc. This position plays a vital role in our product platform developments by actively promoting security and ensuring compliance with technical solutions and legal standards.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a primary contact for international OEMs and customer projects regarding e-mobility systems and platform development on cyber security-related software topics.
• Conduct Threat and Risk Analysis (TARA), develop protection concepts, and implement secure software based on security requirements.
• Provide support in analyzing customer needs, defining security goals, assets, etc.
• Collaborate with experts in functional safety, system architecture, software development, and other fields to realize an overall security concept.
• Contribute to the initiation process from concept development to product development in interdisciplinary projects.
• Manage software security requirements and supervise the design for re-use and optimization.
• Drive the build-up of cyber security growth strategically and technically.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or similar field.
• Preferably experience in automotive systems development.
• Knowledge or certifications in automotive cyber security standards like ISO21434 is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Automotive SPICE, IEC 61508, or ISO 26262 and related methods is a plus.
• Strong motivation to learn, innovate, and take responsibility.
• Analytical mindset and structured approach.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborative teamwork and technical discussions.
• Proficiency in tools like DOORS Next, Rhapsody, and software development tools.
• Fluency in English, German, and/or Hungarian is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel.
