**About the Opportunity**

Join an innovative team at Westinghouse Electric Canada that supports the mission to provide clean energy solutions. The successful candidate will work on the eVinci microreactor program with responsibilities in analyzing and designing various aspects of the nuclear fuel cycle. This includes fuel fabrication, new fuel transport operation, core life extensions, shutdown, disassembly, spent fuel transport, and final repository.

**What will you do:**

• Perform nuclear thermal mechanical analysis and design of systems and components
• Assess manufacturers, partners, and materials for design integration
• Coordinate calculations related to thermal hydraulics and heat rejection
• Develop engineering design calculations, specifications, and procedures
• Create test plans to validate models and parameters
• Identify technical issues and provide guidance for resolution
• Collaborate with other personnel, partners, laboratories, or subcontractors

**What will you bring:**

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field (Advanced Degree preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a challenging R&D environment
• Strong computer skills, proficiency in LINUX and computer programming
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects under pressure
