Job Opening: Technischer Support Spezialist Hardware
Join our team at Landis Gyr, a global leader in integrated energy management solutions. We are looking for a Technischer Support Spezialist Hardware to be the first point of contact for our external customers. Help them manage their daily challenges in line with our customer service process and mutual service agreement.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct troubleshooting, clean up, and customer support in Power Line Communication (PLC) and various wireless transmissions.
- Perform firmware updates and meter configurations in collaboration with customers.
- Assist in process improvements and developments both internally and with customers.
- Provide customer training on clean up and performance optimizations in G3 Power Line Communication (PLC) and wireless communication.
- Train sales staff on meter configuration.
- Monitor the repair process and support in handling repair orders.
- Enter data in SAP, generate error reports in CRM, and manage transport orders.
- Represent the company in a positive and professional manner with internal and external partners.
**Requirements:**
- Completed technical or IT education (e.g., Bachelor of Science, Technician, IT Specialist, or equivalent).
- Experience in a similar role or technical customer support.
- Knowledge of telecommunications technologies and/or measuring devices is desirable.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to find effective solutions.
- Structured and systematic work approach.
- Fluent communication in German and English (French is a plus).
- Confident and customer-oriented personality who enjoys working in a dynamic team.
- Experience in dealing with various stakeholders.
- Ability to engage and influence people in a multinational cultural environment.
