Full Stack Engineer - Driving Tools

Zoox’s realtime in-vehicle visualization system is essential for the safe and effective use of our ever-growing fleet of autonomous robotaxis. As an engineer on our Driving Tools team, you will collaborate with some of the best and brightest robotics engineers in the world to provide web-based applications that make complex robotics systems accessible to our team of robot operators. • Develop full stack applications using modern web and C++ technologies.
• Collaborate with users of our software to define and iterate on great solutions to their product needs.
• Solve complex technical challenges to deliver consistently great performance in a large and constantly evolving application.

Qualifications

• Fluency with at least one modern JS framework: Vue, Angular, or React.
• Experience with TypeScript, HTML & CSS.
• Experience with C++.
• Well-rounded understanding of web technologies.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• User-centric approach to product development.
• Experience with a collaborative codebase: design reviews, documentation, performance monitoring, and maintenance.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotics systems.
• Experience with three.js, Babylon.js or another 3D rendering engine.
• Experience with OpenGL.
• Experience with networking.
• Experience with Linux. Compensation There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $203,000 to $293,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
