At Peak Power, we're making dirty power plants obsolete. The current centralized electricity system is not sustainable. Between the climate crisis, state-wide blackouts, aging infrastructure, and rising costs, the system needs a huge overhaul. The demand for electricity is high and getting higher, and big power plants aren't meeting our needs. We say it's time to disrupt and decentralize.

At Peak Power, we're energy nerds that develop software for the energy storage sector. Our tech turns commercial buildings and industrial facilities into mini virtual power plants in a new decentralized electricity system. *Peak Synergy* is our energy efficiency software platform. It analyzes grid conditions in real time and sends notifications for high demand hours. The platform also looks at how dirty the grid is at any moment. If a building has batteries and EV chargers onsite, *Peak Synergy* manages their usage to meet sustainability goals and participate in complicated energy market programs.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the VP Project Development, the Senior Project Manager will work with a talented group of Project Managers, Engineers, Business Development Managers, and business stakeholders in a fast-paced and exciting environment. This work matters. Even a small change to optimize electricity usage can significantly impact our customers' electrical grid and environment. We're building something that will have a lasting positive impact.

Deliver

• Advanced leadership, time management, prioritization, and project management skills.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and documentation.
• Review regular reports of budget and timeline status.
• Manage projects in alignment with budget and timeline.

Lead & Plan

• Establish delivery dates for each project deliverable.
• Lead and plan studies required to assess project viability.
• Manage utility interconnection processes for development projects.
• Conduct due diligence on potential projects.

Manage & Coordinate

• Define and document RFPs and scope of work packages for 3rd party EPC firms.
• Participate in EPC selection and contract negotiation.
• Manage the third-party consultants and contractors.

Collaborate

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Develop and lead the implementation of project-wide strategies.
• Manage engagements with project stakeholders.

Grow

• Proactively identify opportunities to improve operational performance.
• Contribute to Peak Power's electric asset portfolio growth.

What you will bring to Peak Power

Experience and Education

• 8 years of professional experience in project development and management.
• 4 years of experience in energy storage projects.
• Undergraduate Degree in engineering, project management, or equivalent.
• P. Eng designation preferred.
• Project Management Institute (PMP) certification.
