Role Overview

The Senior Manager Commissioning Closeout and Operational Handover plays a crucial role in managing a team for a large commuter rail infrastructure project. This role requires technical expertise, leadership, and communication skills to engage with contractors and clients. Responsibilities include contract management, project progression, and addressing complex issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently managing technical, analytical, and contract administration work
• Engaging with contractors and clients for the successful closeout and handover of projects
• Providing technical guidance and recommendations
• Leading a diverse team to address complex issues
• Audit and review work for compliance with project agreements and industry standards
• Proactive stakeholder management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (asset)
• 20 years of project management or contract administration experience in rail or transportation projects
• Superior people and negotiating skills
• In-depth technical, contractual, and commercial understanding
• Team leadership and client reporting experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Technical expertise in testing, commissioning, systems engineering, and operations
• MBA or PMP / P. Eng designation (asset)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
