**Job Summary:** Pritchard Companies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all accounting standards and regulations.

**Responsibilities:**

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements providing recommendations for improvement
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and adherence to accounting standards and regulations
• Manage and reconcile balance sheet accounts including bank reconciliations and intercompany transactions
• Coordinate and assist with annual external audits
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and maintain internal controls
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company goals and initiatives
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance and make necessary adjustments to company policies and procedures

**Requirements:**

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the automotive industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
