Job Title: Scientific Advisor

Wolf Greenfield is seeking qualified and experienced engineers with strong technical backgrounds in electrical engineering, computer science, software, or physics to join our Electrical and Computer Technologies group in a Scientific Advisor capacity in Boston, MA. In this role, candidates will actively apply technical expertise to support the firm and its clients' complex Intellectual Property (IP) needs while collaboratively working with attorneys and other team members.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing technical disclosures and detailed descriptions of new inventions
• Preparation of patent applications and drafting formal requests to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
• Collaborating with attorneys and team members to support IP needs

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience in relevant technical fields
• Strong technical background in electrical engineering, computer science, software, or physics
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Prior IP or patent law experience is not necessary
