POSITION SUMMARY

Sales Professionals at EmPower act as the main liaison for both potential and existing customers. Sales Professionals guide customers through the sales journey, from education to contract finalization. While most consultations are remote, occasional in-person meetings are required. Additionally, Sales Professionals handle clerical tasks, such as phone or video sales, both from their home office and at the customer’s residence.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Foster relationships with potential customers.
  • Draft and finalize sales proposals.
  • Engage homeowners with presentations and proposal discussions.
  • Identify and implement the best financing and system designs for clients.
  • Manage multiple customer expectations and oversee the entire sales process.
  • Proactively seek new sales avenues and encourage referrals from clients.
  • Deepen understanding of the solar industry, focusing on its technical, financial, and legislative aspects.
  • Collaborate with the EmPower team to meet collective objectives.
  • Uphold and champion EmPower’s core values, mission, and vision.

SALES OBJECTIVES

  • Convert at least 25% of opportunities into sales.
  • Generate a minimum of 4 sales opportunities monthly through self-generated efforts and referrals within half a year.
  • Secure a minimum of 4 sales every month within a 6-month timeframe.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong ties with a steady clientele or influential network.
  • Adhere to industry-standard sales techniques, such as:
    • Initiating introductory calls for all new prospects.
    • Actively seeking and nurturing referrals from both new and current clients.
  • Ensure an exceptional customer journey for potential clients, as reflected in high net promoter scores and positive customer feedback.

YOU ALSO HAVE

  • A strong familiarity with Google Workspace, including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendars, etc.
  • A familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM, preferred
  • 2+ References

POSITION & COMPENSATION

  • Type: Full-time telecommuting role, with an expected 45-50 hours/week. Occasional office visits may be required.
  • Compensation: Base salary plus uncapped commission, with potential annual earnings ranging from $75k to $150k.
  • Incentives: Regular performance bonuses, sales contest prizes for top performers.
  • Nature: Performance-driven; highly motivated and successful employees will be rewarded generously.
