Our work focuses on smart strategies to achieve net zero emissions of greenhouse gases, enhance resilience to climate change risks, and address issues related to equity and adaptation.

**Summary** Resources for the Future is seeking early career PhD-level researchers in economics or related fields with a strong desire to engage with policy audiences and make an impact on environmental decisions. Successful RFF Fellows conduct high-quality research, lead new projects, and engage in policy communication. We are particularly interested in expertise related to policy design, modeling for emission reductions, adoption of innovative technologies, and other climate-related topics.

**Qualifications**

• PhD in economics or related field and more than 5 years of post-degree professional experience in climate policy research OR alternative graduate degree with at least 10 years of experience in climate policy research.
• Expertise in topics related to climate change with a publication record.
• Experienced in government agencies and environmental policy networks.
• Ability to lead and manage research and policy teams.
• Fundraising experience and strong communication skills.
• Interest and capability to work collaboratively on an organizational level.
