Permitting Associate

Ocean Winds (OW Offshore, S.L.), a 50/50 joint venture by EDP Renewables (EDPR) and ENGIE, has brought its experience, skills and knowledge to the United States, one of its target areas for future growth. Ocean Winds North America (OW North America LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of OW Offshore, S.L.), oversees the research of potential and development of existing offshore wind lease areas across the nation.

We are looking for a Permitting Associate that meets the following:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in Federal permitting and New Jersey and/or New York permitting regimes
• Experience in technical environmental impact assessment for large infrastructure projects, preferably in-water projects.
• Relevant educational experience, minimum Bachelor’s Degree. Advanced degree related to environmental management/permitting, biological science or environmental engineering is a plus.
• Two years of relevant experience working on complex offshore energy or in-water projects and/or large-scale renewable energy projects.
