Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a Backoffice Process Digitalization Expert to join our team in Milan within the Support Functions. ENGIE Italy is organized into multiple Global Business Units covering various market segments such as Energy Solutions, Renewables, Flexible Generation, Retail, and GEMS. Staff functions that support these business lines are managed centrally by various Directors overseeing procurement policies, administrative and financial aspects, human resource management policies, communications, regulatory and institutional affairs, as well as legal and corporate matters.

Your Responsibilities

• Managing Business Requirements actively supporting their drafting and collaborating with relevant stakeholders including key business users and external partners.
• Gathering and understanding business needs in the areas of backoffice billing, metering, and formatting.
• Translating requirements into application solutions aligned with the IT roadmap using effective and efficient technical solutions.
• Collaborating with IT governance and security areas following cybersecurity architectural guidelines and reference public cloud solutions.
• Supporting the daily operations of solutions ensuring the SLAs of managed partners are met.
• Proposing new innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Constantly monitoring implemented solutions, identifying and promptly resolving any issues, and initiating continuous improvement.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Master's in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of work experience in similar contexts and roles.
• Proven experience in functional analysis or as a Project Manager in the Backoffice preferably in the utilities market.
• Previous experience and knowledge of cloud-native applications, preferably on AWS technology.
• Ability to coordinate and collaborate with key business users, IT team, and external partners.
• Good knowledge of the English language.
